"So let me get this straight - Larry King is getting his 8th divorce, Elizabeth Taylor is possibly getting married for a 9th time, Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage. Jesse James and Tiger Woods are screwing EVERYTHING - yet the idea of same-sex marriage is going to destroy the institution of marriage?"

Durarara! is an anime adaptation of a light novel series of the same name written by Ryohgo Narita, who's the author of the light novel series Baccano! as well, and began airing in Japan in January 7, 2010.

"The story takes place in Ikebukuro, a district of Tokyo. Teenage punks gang up and fight against each other. The gangsters are afraid of an urban legend called "Dullahan", a headless rider, who rides a black motorcycle without head lights or engine sounds. Ryuugamine Mikado is a normal high school boy who seeks peculiar beings. When he moves in to Ikebukuro, a mad scramble for Dullahan's missing head breaks out." From animecrazy.net

I watched the first episode (the only one up till now) in the afternoon and I love(d) it! It's produced by the same studio as Baccano! and you can tell by seeing the character design, opening, ending and composition of the episode. That's one of the reasons why I love it so much. The story is interesting and after the first episode I wonder what happens next and how the mystery will turn out. It's like in baccano! with the rail tracer. And I'm so looking forward to this! I can't tell how excited I am right now. I'm sure it will be great (like Baccano!).

Happy New Year I'm not here ;D

Since I'm going to spend New Year's at a place totally cut off from the world (without internet and cell phone reception) I want to wish you a happy new year!
Additionally, of course, Happy New Year for the 1st January also =)

???Collapse )

And so that I have something to read when I'm back (maybe or maybe not?):

Have you anything great planned for the coming year? my answerCollapse )

Is there anything that you would like to do or you must do especially in 2010? my answerCollapse )

Are there things you have to give up because of the new year? my answerCollapse )

And finally: Is there really anyone who abides by its New Year's resolution before? my answerCollapse )

Nice holidays and wish me luck xD
See you in 2010 =)

EDIT: Because I'm really tired (it's 5 o'clock in the morning and I'm not just got up, but rather still awake -.-), I have to hand my answers to the questions in later.

Do you know Earl and Fairy (Hakushaku to Yousei)?
I'm currently watching it. It's really cute xD Strange and sometimes I want to jump out of the windows due to stupid sweet talk, but it gets me <3
The story is set in Victorian England and I think the clothes are really adorable. I liked them as long as I can remember... mostly due to my Love to the Sissi movies I watched as a little girl on VHS from my aunt. Which reminds me of my disappointment when I watched the third one... I thought it was bad... not almost as good as the two before.
But back to the subject: I'm already at the end of the series and the manga is also very cute... but like the anime: sometimes the sweet talk (especially from edgar) is just to much! xD It has all the shoujo elements in it- bishounens, romance, you name it. And fairies! They are really cute and stuff... I think I'm much more starry-eyed/romantically minded as I thought I would be ^^''

Ga-Rei Zero Fever

Yesterday my brother and I somehow got to talk about Ga-Rei Zero, once again,
while listening to the fantastic opening, once again.
I got totally excited and he rolled his eyes, once again.

Anyway today I though I could search some more pictures and icons and some other stuff from this anime. That way I watched the last episode again from the moment Yomi talks about being filled with emotions and her true wish...
And even though I watched this anime more then 25 times (!) I felt my eyes fill with tears as Yomi says she wants to protect Kagura from all misfortune even if the cause of that is she (Yomi) and on the verge of the killing scene - while they're fighting and remembering their relationship - I sobbed and burst into tears...
I can't remember an anime I watched so many times and even though cried every single time. I really love this anime. I really do. But it's so sad... so heart breaking sad. I liked Yomi and I did in the manga as well, but the manga... that's another issue xD
Now I'm listening to the soundtrack in an endless loop. I think, Ga-Rei Zero is one of the few animes, whose opening is (/songs are) really awesome and even goes with the series. Well, maybe I only think so because I love the anime so much.
In spite of the circumstances I just can't get enough <3

Now I'm almost crying again...

The Wendelstein-Trip

Long, long time ago...
I posted my first entry... and stopped because of various circumstances - okay, truth: I was shy and ashamed of my english skills... but thanks to hunterwithcause I have no shame left. Mostly. Well then, my english sucked at that time (now it's better but still improvable). Therefore I've decided: From today on I try it again and start all over...

Two Arabians + one mountain + 4 degree (max) + Snow and Ice = awfully much to laugh about!

Yesterday my boyfriend and his buddies from work wanted to go sightseeing (more like: We want to see snooooooooow! *weheeee*) and planned the trip to the Wendelstein (Mountain)

Read more...Collapse )

I had really really much fun...
